ILR AND TAX

hi gurus, i am asking on behalf of my friend, his ILR is due in April 2015, his questions are:

i have to show 56000 , and i m fully self employed, and now i have cancel myself from self employment and i m the director of that limited company,

the time when i will apply for ILR for how many years of tax i have to pay ? is it for one year only or all 3 years ,i hope many of you understand my questions.....
