Hi guys just a quick update. called HO today and they told me a decision was made yesterday and i should receive it sometime next week. The lady that answered the phone was very polite and even said if i don't receive the letter, i should ring them up again and they will dispatch another.

Called UKBa on 30th April and Case is allocated to caseworker on 30th April and called again today and still with caseworker

Really waiting for the Approval . Dows anybody knows how long it should take them once it is allocated to case worker

I know for a fact they aim to complete 10 applications a day fpr each case worker. However, they average 10.2 a day. Depending on the complexity of ur case it could take longer.

Does it matter if you call them to check the status again

It would be good if they can have something online which tells you the status of application

I received a letter today saying my application has been sucessful and asking me to book an apointment from HO, Is it Approval or Invitation?

Word of Warning:

For English Test do not go to test centres like "Computer Learning Centre, 65 Kingsley Road , Hounslow, Middlesex, TW3 1QB"They charge more than double than other test centres. I had to wait for more than 8 weeks to certicate after the exam. waste of time & money.

When I called and they weren't answering, I just walked over and asked if I could book the ceremony. Had to wait a short while, but they were very nice. They do ceremonies on Wednesdays and I think they may still have a few openings this week..

I applied on the 7th March through Newham NCS. I had excess absence of 170 days in the final year. I wrote a covering letter explaining the excess absence which was due to trying to build my small uk registered business in africa. I received my approval today. Thank God.

Thank you spike_UK... I usually track them as per the date of application... You will find some applications made in the last days of the month and reflect the ack in the next month, however I still keep them as per the date they've applied.
