Sponsor Licence Approved , No unrestricted CoS allocated.

Hi All,
We have applied for Tier2 (general) Sponsor licence, we have been approved and received the unrestricted licence details by post with in 2 weeks of time ... But when we checked on management system we couldn't find any COS allocated.

So we have requested through SMS for 2 unrestricted CoS. unfortunately on same day we got an email saying that "not approved your request for 2 Tier 2 (General) CoS because based on the information provided in your justification we have been unable to establish that the request CoS are to be used for unrestricted migrant applications."

Wondering what we need to do next ? as our company got A rated sponsor licence but 0 (zero) CoS allocated.

Any help or advice from you will be highly appreciated.

you have to address the HO's reason for the refusal. What justification did you provide for the request for allocation?

Thanks for your kind reply. I've provided the following justification.
"As we have been running the organization for a long time and the business has witnessed growth and also client base increased. Our clients range from individuals to larger business entities, We have established a name for our IT Services and technical expertise, for which many clients approached to provide IT support to enhance their business.

We find it difficult to provide the support with the limited staffing we have on board at the moment. Therefore we wish to hire more skilled staff to keep the business steady. Finding the perspective experience skilled candidates for our business requirement is very difficult.

As the local market could not help us in finding the right candidates, we would be looking from a wider area which is not limited to local pool of skilled human resources. Therefore we request to add the new CoS allocation."

difficult to say why they didn't grant your request for the unrestricted CoS allocations. Perhaps you ought to have spelt out that the unrestricted CoSs would be for highly skilled migrants who are already working in the UK.

Suggest you call the employer helpline, perhaps they can throw some light on this and you could glean from them how to phrase a new request for it to be granted: 0300 123 4699
