Current leave expiry and new start dates are same

Post by anoops1984 » Thu May 08, 2014 12:49 pm

Hi Manci/Gurus,

I have been assigned a new COS with 28th August 2014 as the work start date. My current leave expiry is also on the same date. Would this be a problem as the sponsorship guidance(below link) says

"39.18 When you assign a CoS to extend a migrant’s leave in the same tier and category, the
start date on the CoS should be the day after their current leave expires."

https://www.gov.uk/government/uploads/s ... _04-14.pdf

Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Regards,
Anoop

Didn't realize it's a Tier-2 extension query and thought you're applying for a switch from Tier-2 ICT to Tier-2 general visa.

Hi,

Yes, this is a Tier 2 General extension application.
