ielts pass evidence!

Post by abc111 » Tue May 13, 2014 10:02 am

Hi,
For BC purposes my wife has taken ielts and scored more than 5.0 score for both speaking and listening sections. When it comes to sending application then will we need to include ielts certificate or HO will check it online?!

Thanks

Depends on when the IELTS test was taken. According to this:

https://www.gov.uk/government/uploads/s ... _tests.pdf

For tests taken on or after 6 April 2013, you do not need to provide a certificate as scores are verified using the Cambridge English online system using name, date of birth and passport number.

For tests taken prior to 6 April 2013, you need to submit the certificate.
