And if you remit money to her on a regular basis, then they could argue that she could even have a better life in Russia (due to more financial stability) than you having to bring her over here. Even the UKvisas website write this statement.Other relatives (such as a brother, sister or cousin) do not have an automatic right to live in the UK with you. However, applications for the admission of such relatives will be sympathetically considered by the immigration authorities if you are working in the UK and:
they are dependent on you; or
they were living with you before you came to the UK.
