Please I need someone to help me clarify something,if one get a letter from initial processing team requesting for more documentation,does it mean that one's application is ready to be submitted for approval? Secondly,people that get requested for further documentation,does it happen before receiving 2nd stage letter or does it happen b4 receiving 2nd stage letter? Thank you guys.

after you submit the doc requested, they send you an acknowledgment letter then later after they finish the initial stage, they send you a letter that your application is in second stage then you wait again for a decision...

My mum got the first acknowledgement letter from the office then she got 2nd stage letter but she still got the letter from the office requested for further documentation submitted to them. because i think when you look at the bottom of the 2nd stage letter they send you, near the bottom paragraph it says something like... ''If further documentation and/or clarification of any matter related to your application is required from you, we will write to you requesting it. Otherwise, you will receive a letter in due course informing you of the Minister's decision on your application''

so Yes they can still ask for anything they need even if they have sent you the 2nd stage letter..

The initial processing is only checking general requirements and shape your application all in general view and make sure that nothing missing and then the second stage to check all application individually and zoom in to you case and if any additional documents needed they will send you in the mean while they will be waiting for the Garda report, once all these steps done , your application will be in the Q for approval.

Thx 4 ur reply,it seems logical,but I've been checking people's thread,some people that got requested for more documentation and some of them are requested to show provide proof of their court payment,they do wait for sometime like 5-6 months like user; MRED,CALVIN KLEIN and co. These guys never receive 2nd stage letter b4 being requested for explanation and more documentations.They only receive first stage letter.So,if it is after receiving 2nd stage letter that they start requesting for SW,revenue,garda et cetra,these guys should've gotten 2nd stage letter. Well,I hope my assumptions are wrong,but if any1 got 2nd stage letter and later was requested to provide additional documents,pls correct me.

I was talking about the normal cases uncomplicated cases, you can say the majority got it that way.
