Exchanging Driving License

Exchanging Driving License

Hi,

I want to know whether is it possible to get UK driving license in exchange of my Canadian G1 driving license?

If the G1 license is a learner's permit, then no, you cannot exchange it. You can only exchange a full non UK drivers license.

I think you can apply for a provisional license (learner driver) in the UK. It costs £50 and forms are available at the Post Office and you can call the DVLA to find out what, if any, criteria there are, eg residence etc.
