Two questions come to mind regarding the new workers registration policy. Perhaps somebody could shed some light on these two issues:
1. To maintain a valid registration certificate for the initial 12 month period, does the worker have to be employed on a full time basis or is a part-time position sufficient? This generally applies to students (although not only) holding part-time jobs and wanting to be able to qualify to apply for an EEA residence permit once they've been employed for a year.
2. Does a self-employed person and thus not required to obtain a workers registration certificate have to apply for one if he or she wants to engage in a part-time employment besides the business he/she might already be running?
Any help is greatly appreciated. Thanks,
Michal
