Inviting my mum for my graduation ceremony

Post by mimiblessed » Mon Jun 02, 2014 10:27 pm

Hello everyone

Please I will like to know.....I have recently qualified as a teacher in FE, and will like to invite my mum for my graduation ceremony. In 2009 mum was refused visa stating they don't believe she will go back. Secondly they said money in my account was 2k but I did not mention where it came from? At the time I did not appeal because I did not know how to go about it. ( that's no justification anyways because I could have asked)

Mum

1. Mum is a widow and pensioner
2. Mum owns a property and rears cows in a farmland
3. She has 4 children still under her roof that she cares for.
4. Mum has no savings of her own

Me

1. I have suitable accommodation
2. I am not on benefit as I had student loan with tax credits
3. I am not working as recently finished uni
4. I got savings of 4k which was paid to me by someone, got prove to show.

What are my chances of bringing mum giving the fact that I do not work but have some savings? Your honest replies will be appreciated.
