I really don't want to say this, but I think someone's got to. I believe the biggest problem lies in your level of English.

Your solicitor is either (i) extremely incapable, but you can't quite see that due to your inability to communicate, or (ii) s/he is taking a p#ss and ripping you off, but you don't see it, because of your inability to understand what is said in the EEA immigration rules. You seemingly fail to understand anything that has been said on this thread. You keep saying, for example, "visa", but the document that you are hoping to receive is a residence card and not even a visa. You've spent over a decade in the UK and have even graduated a university here (as you say), but, having done the same, I can't easily believe that. Are you even telling the full story?

You've been given loads of advices on this thread by various people, but you either didn't quite understand or just ignored. You are married to an EEA national, so it shouldn't have been made so complicated in the first place. There are many other souls in quite a bit more disastrous situations.

I suggest you seek help directly from someone who speaks good English and has been through a similar process.

I seriously hope that, you will take on board what's been said by yoshi, not only that your representation appeared to be mismanaging your case, you seem to have done a lot of that to yourself, probably out of sheer ignorance, stop ranting and get reading the directives, try and calm yourself seriously down, with the line you are bordering, I hope you will make good use of your RC when you finally receive it.

In my opinion this thread should immediately be locked because op is totally not listening others, just come after few days and type something and then other members repeatedly repeat same advise. It must be locked and op should refer the topic sticking to board.

This thread has been going on for over a year, backwards and forewords with the same information, it's becoming tedious.

I'm dumbfounded by the amount of money your solicitor has charged you for a simple reconsideration. Besides not doing his work right, he's also overcharging you.

I think what you should do is sack your solicitor .

When i saw my email notifying me of your post, i seriously thought you have been grant Residence Card, as your case has been unnecessarily prolonged for not apparent reason.

I don't know how to advise. Only you lawyers know what is going on.

They first refused on the basis that your marriage is one of convenience, now you wife is pregnant, that should go under the bridge. What your lawyers are doing is not clear to me.

What happen to the reconsideration? and are they going to seek further adjournment?

You have been told zillion of times that you have a good case which even no need of solicitor but you just want to spend on unprofessional solicitors who taking advantage of your confusion & innocence by emptying your pocket. I hope and pray that this time soon you get RC and enjoy life with your newly born baby.
