Alhamdhulillah ADUANWAR I am so happy for you.

can i ask what Additional Documents were Requested the for your first appliaction?
and the reason why there got rejected?

jazakallah khair
They wanted my accounts which I was unable to provide as I didn't have an accountant back then, my national insurance contribution statement (which I provided but wasn't paid), 12 months bank statement because I only submitted 6 originally. It was my fault because I went in unprepared.
thanks for reply, that was some unpreparation, if you didnt even show your accounts

Jazk'Allah. I sent them an email asking to withdraw my application and the same day I had a reply with a form attached. Wife filled if and signed if which we then scanned and emailed back. The contacted us within few days and asked to collect the passport.

When I re-applied everything was the latest. Wife's TB test expired so she had to do that again.[/quote

Phaara, when you get an e-mail which states;
(your application is still under process and further inquiries are going on)

To me it usually means that an ECO is still enquiring about the evidence the applicant has provided.

The other e-mail which states;
(Your application is still under process and still waiting for e.c.o to assess your file)

This sounds like it means that your application has not been seen by an Entry Clearance Officer, so it's in process of being seen. Who knows when this could be.

If you got the bottom e-mail before the top then looks fine, if other way round then it's strange. UKVI are known not to be that reliable.

People need to realise that the time-frame of 3-6 months, is just that, a time-frame. It doesn't mean you will definitely get a decision on your application. I say this over and over, not every application will be the same. Some will take longer then others.

The best method of waiting is to be patient. Once the application has been submitted, you cannot do anymore, to get an answer quicker. Those who go to MP's have been fortunate in some cases, but it's all about if you meet the requirements or not. That is the bottom line from the way I see it.

Thank you for ur guidance

i firstly got email that your application is ''currently being processed''

then after few days i got email reply that your application is in process and still waiting for e.c.o to assess your file.

but yes you right we just have to do sabar..

You cannot really track applications anymore. The best bet is to e-mail UKVI and ask for an update, stating the GWF number.

Depending on where you apply (Islamabad, Karachi, Lahore and Mirpur), you should get an e-mail saying it's dispatched. I think another e-mail is sent when your documents are ready for collection.

From what e-mail we received, and some others have also received, the UKVI has decision making centres in the city which you have applied. This leads me to believe that not every application which is submitted in the cities apart from Islamabad, is sent to Islamabad.

Got this email from ukvi yesterday, does this mean that my application is finally being looked at?

Thank you for contacting the UK Visas and Immigration International Enquiry Service. STATUS:::::: The visa application has not yet been assessed by an Entry Clearance Officer (ECO), an Officer received your application although no decision has yet been made.

Hi every body !

This forum seems very helpful to the people who want to apply for their spouses,
I also want to apply for my wife currently she is in Pakistan but i am not sure what documents do i need and which application form to fill.
Here is my status in the uk;
Previously married to EEA national and divorced and holding Permanent Residence Card on Pakistani Passport,
I was married again in Jan2014 to a Pakistani national and i want to apply for her to bring in the UK.

I work full time and my earning are more than £18,600 also my wife has done the A1 english test in Pakistan

Now the question is I am not British national yet but got PR on the basis of my ex wife (EEA National) so i don't know what application form to fill and what documents do i need ?#

I will be very grateful if you guys guide me through

Thanks in Advance

Irfan

Hi.

Applied in Mirpur Gerry's office for wife's visa on 17th January 2014. Still no reply.

Sent an email to islamabad embassy a couple of weeks ago but no reply from them.

Is it worth writing to the local MP here?

Many Thanks

Musriz, Haze, send an e-mail to UKVI and ask about the status of the application referencing your GWF numbers. They normally reply quick (every time I have contacted them, it's been the next day for a reply). Good luck.

KSAli, the applicant should receive an e-mail informing them that it's been sent to the UKVI decision making centre, so always check the e-mail/junk e-mail folder. If you still do not receive anything within a couple of days, then like above contact the UKVI.

Hi guys I need someone to urgently advise me on something here regarding the TB test.

My wife is looking to get her TB test done in Islamabad, and wants to book an appointment to have it done.

My question is, when she calls up the office, how soon can she get an appointment to be tested?
She has been told she has to wait AT LEAST 10 days to be given an appointment?!

Is it really a 10 day wait to get an appointment!?

Can someone please explain.

Thanks!
