My wife is settled in the UK and she has delivered a premature baby by c-section. I applied for a family visit visa to attend to her because she does not have any family member in the UK. This is our second child. My application was rejected and the reason was she sends financial assistance to us( daughter) back home in Uganda. Secondly the money to buy our travel tickets was provided by my sister so they said i depend on my family support. I am employed though. I have enough funds to pay for my travel and living costs in the UK without depending on public funds. They stated that they don't think i can meet costs of my travel and accommodation. I am really confused because my wife is depressed and needs help. After undergoing an operation with a preemie baby, how do they expect her to support herself? I thought the VO would be human enough to understand her situation. Her doctor wrote a cover letter to explain her medical condition but i don't even think the VO took time to read it. I am planning a re application. Please advice me on how to address this issue.
