Right just to give you guys an update on my situation, i finally got my ILR approved and got my passport and biometric card today.

Well chuffed! bloody hell! the wait was excruciating.

Applied: 15th Feb 2014
Biometric Enrolment: 1st March 2014
Passports + Biometric Received: 12th June 2014 (Dated 10th June 2014)

Funny enough, the indefinite isn't quite indefinite any more ... bloody cheeks ... card expires in 10 years time.

Good luck to all those who are waiting

I have applied for ILR Set (o) under the ''Tier 2'' 5 yrs WP route on the 23rd of December '13
Acknowledgement letter was sent on the 30th of December '13 and the letter for biometrics
was sent out on the 20th of January '14. I submitted my biometrics at the local PO on
the 27th of January '14. My application was submitted by my solicitor.

I am still waiting to hear from them! I am running out of patience. Anyone waiting this long?

After a long wait,I was given a 24months leave rather than an indefinite leave because i had an esol english language level 2, they said it should be a level 3. i need to sort this as soon as possible. Will a masters degree program done in the UK suffice or must i do the esol level 3 and then book a same day PEO application with same documents i used for my earlier application.

Applied on 07th of March 2014 via settlement checking service. Nothing heard since the biometrics letter which I completed on 22nd Mard 2014. Any March Application updates?

@iamusmanghni We applied using the settlement checking service on the 4th of March. Judging from this thread we will have another two to four weeks wait yet.

I also had a thought yesterday. The Govt are 'finding' all these extra staff to put extra hours in to sort out the passport delays and chaos. I hope they are not pulling visa staff of their jobs? We have a long enough wait as it is!

Our friend who applied before the infamous October changes, got a decision in 6 weeks even when he was told his application was more complicated!

Keeping my fingers crossed for everyone on here.
SET M Via settlement Checking Service -05/03/14
Confirmation letter dated 10/03/14
Biometrics letter arrived- 26/03/14
Biometrics done- 28/03/14
IRL Granted after reconsideration (HO admin error) 18/12/14

@ askim

Yes you are right as it seems from this page no march application has got a decision yet. Yes lets hope that they improve the service instead of futher delaying. I think it should be fine bcz ILR SET M applications are sent to a separate office anyways so i believe they have dedicated team to work only on set m cases. Thank you for your kind reply

Hello everyone;

I was really surprised to see here on forum when I couldn't find threads for ILR. I luckily got this today, and glad to see ppl sharing their experiences. Well, I think no one with application submitted (ILR SET(0)) has received a response yet. According to my research, they are deciding applications submitted in Feb 2014 right now. we, the applicants of March 2014 should be expecting the result in July 2014

I have applied for ILR with SET(0), spending 5 yrs on Tier1-General.

Applied (by post) - 13th March 2014
Biometrics - 8th April 2014
NOW WAITING... :)

Good Luck guys....
Keep Updating....
Regards,

Zeeshan

Getting a bit worried... Phoned the home office today and still no update. We travel on the 6 September and cannot change our dates. I really hope it will all be done by then. We applied on the 6 March. I think our application is a straightforward one but lets see.. :( :( :(

Hello Everyone;

Yeh, Link to this FORUM should be on HO website :) I also think that even on this immigrationboard website, it is slightly misplaced too as I noticed that it is under NON-TIER section, but I guess most of us inc. me is on TIER 1/TIER 2???

Anyways, good thing is, we have a place to come and watch daily to feel the time ticking and calculating own timeline :)

@mah1986

Yes dear, I think this is the case, as I have only seen Feb 2014 applications on here, got their ILR yet. I feel that I will get the decision In sha ALLAH before Eid-ul-Fitr :)

Good Luck everyone!!!

Zeeshan

@longwait2
Hello there, It is quiet obvious that you are frustrated but they are taking around 4 months these days to issue a decision. There is no point to panic right now as according to the stats (forum), you will hear something in 1st or second week of July and even then it will be enough time for you to travel.
So, my advice is to calm down and relax mate. Pray for yourself and other fellows on wait :)

Good Luck!

Regards,

Zeeshan

UK masters degree is enough proof of language proficiency.
