Tier 1 general ILR eligibility after 2015

Post by Munazah » Tue Jun 17, 2014 6:56 pm

Dear all
I have a concern, I came to the country on june2013 as pbs dependant my husband was on tier 1 general,
Now he got his ilr in June 2014 and I need to apply for my extension , if I do it under pbs I will get extension till 2017 which means I won't be eligible for ilr at that point and hence need an extension for another year but my concern is if tier1 extension is closing what will be my options .
I am also wondering if I should switch my category to FLR m now or should I continue my extension on pbs.
Please advise.

I don't think you can switch your category to FLR(M) as your husband had T1G visa before his ILR. As you are present in the UK and as a dependent of the person granted ILR in a work route, you can not use FLR(M).

T1G extensions are closing but PBS dependant will still be open as it is not linked to T1G specifically.
