when to apply ILR

hi,
I have seen some other threads related to my query but I just wanted to be accurate.
I am on a spouse visa
valid from :03/07/12
valid until: 03/10/14
day of arrival to uk: 25/07/12

now I have to apply for ILR the question is when
as I have two different opinions from two solicitors n am so much confused, as one said I have to apply after 16/06/14
n other said to apply in September.
plz can I have a advice as am not sure what to follow
plz a reply ASAP will be appreciated

Neither are correct. You can apply 28 days before the 25th July 2014. i.e 28th June
The rule is 28 days before the 2nd anniversary of the date you first entered the UK on your spouse visa.
