application for flr m questions

Post by joben » Mon Jun 16, 2014 7:42 pm

can someboby please help me with figuring out what supporting documents i need for flr m, ive searched the inet and printed off application and guidence notes but cant get my head around it. just a little info my partner is currently on a tier 5 yms visa and we are getting married in 7weeks and plan to go to a peo to apply for the flr m visa shortly after.

heres a list of the documents i think we need

completed application
passports for us both
passport photos 1 for sponsor two for applicant
marriage certificate

6 months pay slips each
6 months bank statements each
p60s
letter from employers comfirming that wage slips are orginals and also stating basic salary, start dates and postion and weather temp or perm contract.
employment contracts?

the next part is the bit im most confused about as the info over the inet seems to differ alot and people are telling me different things

coucil tax bill (joint bill for 2014-2015)
water bill (joint)
bank statement (joint)
tenancy agreement (joint)
tv licence (apllicatant)
doctors letter(applicant)
bank satement for own account (applicant)
bt bill (sponsor)
sky bill (sponsor)
mobile phone (sponsor)
bank statement for own account (sponsor)

and i read we'd need evidence of our relationship so

from before my partner arrived
skype call logs, emails, christmas cards, photos taken over skype, twitter snapshots

from his time in the uk with me
photos from the day he arrived to now including ones of our upcoming wedding
wedding cards
text and call logs

any help would be greatly appricated

thanks, jodie

Why do you need cohabitation proof? A1 English required.

Then you'll be fine, no I don't think you require cohabitation proof, do read the FLR(M) application.

Thanks for your reply Amber
Sorry to keep bothering u but could you just clarify these bits for me...
I have printed out the application and read it a few times but just to be clear the application doesn't actually ask married couples to provide the 6 joint correspondence(sec 12 (c) ) it's only asking for that of unmarried couples? Is that correct.

And also I'm pretty sure the application doesn't ask for proof of life together so like photos ect so I don't need to provide this info?

Thank you so much your help is appreciated.

I think you are correct, I suggest having the additional paperwork ready in another folder in case it is requested.
