Please help me in regards to Income Requirement

I need to apply on FLR (M) by the end of this month. My husband has been working in a store for last 6 years where he gets paid hourly. He earns about £13000 yearly. But as it is an hourly paid job the pay varies every month. He worked for another retailer from September 2013 to february 2014 where he earned about £7000. So his combined income was about £20000. But he did not earn at the same rate in last 3 months. Do you think it meets the requirement? We seek your kind advice please.

He doesn't meet category A in that he hasn't worked for both employers for 6 months.

He also doesn't meet category B as despite having earnt over the threshold in the last 12 months - he does not CURRENTLY meet the threshold.

He should find another job pronto.

Thanks for your reply. Actually my visa is going to be expired by the end of this month. Is there any way out of this problem?

The key question here is actually (now I've fully read the guidance) whether or not he earned over the threshold, on average, in the last 6 months for the 'current' salary.

So - he needs to add up his current salary over the last 6 months and divide by 6 and see if (when multiplying by 12) it comes out over the threshold.

He earned the threshold over the last 12 months, but not over the last six months. I have got tax return from HMRC 10 months ago.and we have some tesco share.can we include these as non employment income?

AFAIK only income from the shares can be counted - e.g. dividends.

If you sell the shares - they count count towards the savings requirements.

Otherwise - I don't understand about the tax return - were you self employed? Are you still self employed?

I am not self employed. I overpaid tax when I was working in a superstore and I got refund of the excess amount.
