Finance Question

Post by gabys » Sat Jun 21, 2014 9:50 pm

Hi all:

One very quick question - my partner and I are using a credit card. Do we need to settle the balance before I apply for SET(M) visa? Obviously we will pay as much as we can, but we are not sure if this will be counted against us if we have not paid the balance in full when we submit the application. Please advise us.

Thank you.

Gaby.

No issue having a credit card as long as you make regular payments and don't have a CCJ for example.

On your document question in your other thread (you don't have to start a new post/thread for each question pls), you can submit any documents that prove cohabitation covering the 2 years either in joint names or individual names at the same address.

HMRC correspondence
DWP correspondence
NHS letters
etc etc
