Acceptable Letters/Documents?

Post by gabys » Sat Jun 21, 2014 9:46 pm

Hi all

I am currently on FLR(M) visa and will be applying for SET(M) visa (ILR) soon. On the application, it gives a list of acceptable letters and documents to prove that my partner and I live together - mortgage statements, water bills, bank statements. Does anyone know what other documents are considered to be acceptable, which are not listed in the application form? Would documents such as regular donations to charities, volunteer work and sponsorship (children in third world countries/animal adoptions) count?

Thanks so much.

Gaby.

As long as it bears either yours and/or your partner's names and is dated, it should be fine.
