Travel plans for family:Applied for ILR ( long residence)

Post by SidGB » Sun Jun 22, 2014 9:20 pm

Hi Moderators/Experts,

I am following this forum for the last 8 years and has been a source of some very useful information.I have a query which is as under:

I have recently (month and half ago) applied for ILR under long residence. At present I am on tier 1 migrant visa which expires in May 2015. My wife and daughter are on Tier 1 dependent visa valid till May 2015. My wife joined me in UK around 4 years ago but currently she is in India for the last 8 months with my daughter. Both are planning to join me in another 3 months. In the mean time if I get my ILR do they need to apply for a new visa or can they travel on their existing tier 1 dependent visa?

I am feeling a bit nervous if they had to change their visa as it is going to cost me a lot of money and effort.

I would appreciate your response.

They should be ok, they should return before their current leave expires.
