Change Employer T2 ICT Long Terms Leave to Remaim

Hi, I came to the UK under a Tier 2 ICT Long Terms Leave to Remain in 2011
I received a 2 years visa (until 2013)
In 2013 I extended my visa for another 2 years, until 2015.

I have been offered another job in the UK, similar to the one I currently have.

If the new employer want me to have a Tier 2G, for how long will I be able to get the visa, if I have already been in the uk for 3.5 years under the T2 ICT ? Will I still have to leave the UK after 5 years for the cooling off period?

Unfortunately yes - you will be subject to 12 months cooling period for a further Tier 2 leave. Please refer to the below sticky post for more details.

What I read is that I wll be subject to 6 year limit from the date of my initial TIER 2 ICT? Which in my case will be 2 years?
IF I CHANGE SPONSOR for a General Tier 2, will I need to leave the UK, bearing in mind that I entered the UK before April 2011?

Yes, you will have to leave in Feb/Mar 2017 to serve the 12 months cooling period. The people who were granted a Tier 2 ICT entry clearance between Apr-2010 to Apr-2011 have the worst impact of this rule change.....

MAny Many Thanks - So, Just to clarify:

YES I can apply to switch from Tier 2 ICT - TO - Tier 2 general - and start working with the new employer under the Tier 2 General, BUT I WILL STILL HAVE TO LEAVE THE UK, for 12 months, in 2017, when my stay in the UK is 6 years from the first entry?
