I am in the process of sorting out my application for settlement in the uk. My husband has sent me all the financial documents and other supporting documents and everything is ready!
Last night I done the online application (ukvisa) and paid the £855 fee and also got my appointment date with gerrys which is Monday 30th June at 8:30am.
However! I made a small mistake! My name is Huma Wakas and my husbands name is Wakas Masood however in the application I put my name as Huma Masood! Don't ask me why I was half asleep and was stupidity on my behalf.
Everything else is 1000% correct and all my other documents have all my details listed correctly.
I have been advised to just correct the mistake on the printed out application which will be attached to my actual supporting documents and that I should add a cover letter to explain the mistake etc
Is this correct or shall I do anything else? Will the ukba understand it was an actual mistake or will a issue be made? Please help me guys I'm worried sick thinking about it
