Documents Required for Dependent Visa For Partner.:)

Hello All
I am on Tier 1 ( General ) Visa in UK. Working with a company and doing self employment as well. As i am soon planning to start my new life and want to bring my partner here after ceremony. I am looking for Documents Required list for sponsoring my partner.
1. Financial Requirements.
2. Do i need my self employment docs from Accountant.
3. Is any tenancy letter required for that ??
4. Any English Language Test (Ex. IELTS, TOFEL)??
Please help me to get me the list of docs and financial things i need to show.

Two years proof of cohabitation really, impossible if you are in different countries. when did you last live together?

hello all
as per the above specified list , partner does not need IELTS and any other english language test. But
today my partner submitted her visa application and she was asked for english language test by a VFS employee. He said its required. I am confused now as According to my List of documents i submitted
1. Letter from employer confirming my annual package.
2. Last one yr wages slips.
3. Last one yr personal bank statement.
4. Indian account passbook as maintenance with a balance of 1700 as per rs. 105= gbp 1.
5. P 60, utr, current tax code, NICs .
6. Accountant letter confirming my self employment with total(employment+self) more than 30k.
7. trading account statement.
8. marriage certificate with 5 piks and marriage cards from both sides.
9. N.O.C letter from landlord with Driving licence , voter letter from council, 2 utility bills of broadband.
10. T.B. certificate from Indian center.
11. sponsor letter from my side.
12. My passport copies with all stamps , current visa photocopy, and letter which i recieved from ukba for confirming my visa.

i just hope all well.

as i am on second extention on tier 1 general already more than 2 years, currently in india. I am applying for my spouse, do i need 1800 or 600 as maintenance for my spouse.

If you’ve been in the UK for more than 12 months, you must have £600 (£630 from 1 July) for each dependant.

I am confused about these lines.

You have stayed more than 12 months, so you need to show 600 for your dependent.

Also dont worry much about vfs employee. They go by hearsay and ill informed experience. They are not the authority on what documents should be submittted, UKVI documentation is.

So you / your partner (who is the applicant) can point out that it is not a requirement in the policy guidelines.
