ILR Application and TAX Issues - Please Advise

Post by karthik_513 » Sun Jul 06, 2014 10:56 am

Hi All ...

i have my ILR due very soon. I had some financial difficulties earlier so i made an arrangement with hmrc to pay my tax (overdue) in installments (for the year 2011/12 and 2013/14) and if i stick to the payment plan, I will pay the overdue tax in FULL before i apply for my ILR.

Please note: I have declared the full amount to HMRC, which I have told UKBA as my earnings when I got my tier 1 visa.

My Questions:

1. Because I have paid (or will pay) the overdue tax in installments to HMRC - WILL THIS AFFECT MY ILR APPLICATION IN ANY WAY ??
2.Because of this overdue tax - WILL THERE BE ANY ISSUES IN ENTERING THE COUNTRY @ THE AIRPORT IMMIGRATION CHECK ?? (when traveling abroad)

Please advice and thanks for taking your time to reply.

Kind Regards.

No, shouldn't be an issue.
