Only months short in Long Residency

Post by FaisalKhan100 » Thu Jun 19, 2014 6:22 pm

Dear Admin,
By mistake I posted the same mail in wrong forum, I apologize for this.......

My 10 years on Long Residency on Student visa will complete on end of September 2014 but my visa was rejected due to 5 years cap on graduate course and its hearing will be end of July 2014. My case is not so strong so it is very difficult to win the case in First Tribunal. Can you please tell me
1. what should I do if I lost the case
2. If I am applying for ILR after completing my 10 yaars so which forms I have to use for myself, for my wife and Son as well.
3. What are financial requirements for my wife ......... she is living with me as student dependent for more than 5 years.......
waiting your kind reply
Best Regard

Appeal FT tribunal decision, if refused, asking them for leave to appeal, then direct lodge to UT. Perhaps also ask for an a new date of the appeal for a date in August with a good excuse? You can ring the tribunal and see if they'll rearrange the date for in August.

Under Appendix FM, it's a 5-year route to settlement. Though, some have been successful (luck?) in being granted leave to remain under Part 8 of the immigration rules at a PEO and have subsequently settled soon afterwards.
