Yeah, they only asked my husband to take his ID card with him.
No other documents are required.

My husband arrived today from Pakistan.
At border control he was asked these questions

1) what is your sponsors name
2) who has come to receive you
3) with whom will you be living
4) will you be living in a house or apartment
5) when did you get married, how long ago ?
6) where does ur wife work and what kind of work does she do
7) when did you get your visa

As he was passing through customs he was stopped and asked these questions

1) where are you travelling from
2) is this the first time you are travelling
3) do you have any alcohol, cigarettes, knives or any drugs on you
4) did you bring any food items with you
5) which airport did you fly from
6) who has come to receive you

At border control they only checked his passport.
Nobody asked for his TB test OR Polio Test.

Hope this helps.
Applied 17th Jan 2014
VAC Mirpur
Category A (Husband)
Called for Interview 3rd July 2014
ALHAMDHULILLAH VISA GRANTED SAME DAY

Salam all,

My husband got a call yesterday, but we wasn't invited to come to islamabad for an interview. Instead they gave him a phone interview!

He was asked all the same questions as mentioned by those who had the interview in Islamabad. At the end they told him they would be in touch in 2 or 3 days.

Had anybody else had this? And what could this mean? I just don't understand why they didn't invite him to Islamabad for a face to face interview also :(

We applied from Mirpur under cat A with two jobs in Sept 2013
Haven't heard anything despite multiple emails till now!

Congratulations :D Please can you tell what English test did she take? i applied for my wife's visa on 20th January and still got no reply as of yet. Apparently they are delaying it because of her English test. She took ETS English Test. Please reply back to me ASAP.

Many thanks
