Format for English Language Requirement

Post by ashishashah » Tue Aug 07, 2007 2:22 pm

Hello All,

I am applying for FLR(HSMP) next year and i am visiting my home country to get "English Language requirement" letter..( I didnt need that letter at the initial application as rules were different during that time)

Here is the format which i could come up with

---------------------------

I certify that Shri Surname FirstName LAstName passed the bachelor of engineering(B.E.) (BranchName Engg.) degree examination held by this University in Month, Year in the xxx CLass.

I further certify that the medium of instructions at the said course was English.

Mumbai,
----------------------------------------------

Do you think it is good enough??

Please help to get this right, i dont want my visit(and airfare) to go waste...

Thanks
Ashish

Can you please tell me
The procedure to be followed??
Did u visit Bombay University (Kalina)directly??
Do u have to fill up a form?

Whatever their standard format is, do make sure that it indicates degree conferral, rather than passing examinations or otherwise meeting requirements. In addition, of course, it should reference the degree recipient, the date that the degree was conferred, etc. Good luck. AG

You first need to collect a letter from your college (from where you did your Graduation stating the course was done in English).

The same letter needs to be submitted at the Univer. ( @ Kalina) along with their application form and copy of Degree certificate. Fees I believe shud be INR 105. University takes around 2-3 weeks time for this Special Certificate.
