JR Claim Query

Post by InfoSeeker5 » Wed Jul 16, 2014 12:48 am

Hi All,

I was refused Tier 1 Ent Visa (200K category) without right of appeal and my solicitor advised me to go ahead with a JR claim. The Claim has been made and the Acknowledgement from HO was not received even after 42 days. We got a letter from HO solicitors stating that they do not have any further information and hence did not want any more extensions to send acknowledgement. It has been a month since then and I am not getting any further information about timeline for this.

It will help me a lot if someone could please advise how long does it take for the whole process in Upper Tribunal and what should I expect as the next steps in this case?

Thanks!

I applied from within UK. Had to withdraw my first application and reapply, hence no right to appeal.
And yes, I think because I reapplied, I was an overstay (although I reapplied within 28 days of withdrawal of my first application)

Hi All... Does anyone not have any experience with Upper Tribunal? I need help in understanding what are the usual timelines and if there is a way that the status of my case could be traced or if the process could be expedited....

Will appreciate your responses!
