Tier 1 dependant Visa And self employment

Hi guys ,

just wanted to make sure that I am on the right track . I am on tier 1 dependant Visa and I wish to start as a sole trader .Can I start? I know I have to initially register as self employed with Hmrc AND ETC ETC but does my visa gives me this right as it says : No recourse to public funds .##

Yes you can engage in any form of employment until your visa is valid for and it does'nt say no employment
