Hi icehouse256, it's been 8weeks since biometrics and I just called the home office and they told me a package has been sent to me on the 4th of August but haven't received anything yet. The tracking number doesn't give me any information . Omg I'm so nervous, has anyone experienced the same?? Is it a refusal??
Thanks for the status update Imensh, Could you please explain a abit your circumstances which you applied on. As for me, this is my second application, first was refused on financial requirement, so had to apply on (fp) since i have no valid leave anymore, only difference is now my wife now earns more than the financial requirement, even though the (fp) route doesn't require a financial requirement. Also we don't have any kids, just applied based on my british partner. I will appreciate if you can share a bit more on your own situation. Thanks.

I just received a letter from the home office. And alhamdoulilah it's good news. I've been granted 30 months leave to remain. Thank you all forum members for the support and for sharing your experiences and advice. I pray for everyone waiting to get a positive outcome inchallah.
@icehouse256 I applied on form FLR(fp) based on British guns and and daughter. We fulfill all the requirements apart from the leave I was on visitor visa and overstayed for less than 28 days.
Home office number is 03001232241 and quote your case ID
Good luck for everyone who is waiting.
Ps: I applied without the help of a solicitor, just followed advice and info gathered from this amazing forum

(2driving without insurance and 1 over speeding). I came to the UK on a 2years spouse visa in 2012. my marriage broke down after 2years. my Ex refused to give me my daughter's passport and birth certificate. I managed to get another birth certificate. My daughter has ILR but not yet British. It was kind of a gamble indeed. I gathered all documents I could and I managed to get the victory today in exactly 2months. Freedom for atleast 30months. Don't be afraid anyone in this kind of situation. @ Collin am pleased you got your stay, but it's a bit awkward how the HO work, people who are not in the eyes of the law are not granted while someone like you who is a persistent law breaker gets away with it. God is definitely on your side.

Just thought I'd update you on my case. My last post was about the amoebae writing to me and saying I should withdraw with no costs but I decided to stand my ground and wanted my costs. My family has suffered unnecessarily and with that in mind I wanted my costs covered.
Well, I hadn't received any response from the half a brain cell amoebas since I made my demand 3 weeks ago. So today I decided to ring and find out their position as it's getting closer together court date. I contacted the person who sent me the letter and who didn't even bother to acknowledge receipt of my emails and was told that I'm no longer dealing with your case. Was then put through to the one who is dealing with my case now.
Lo and behold, I was told that a letter has been sent out to me on Monday. I hope to receive it tomorrow. I asked what their position was and I was told that they have agreed to my demands. The good Lord is showing his powers to those that find pleasure in seeing people suffer. When the chips have been down, I have remained faithful and I know the good Lord will safely guide me through all this.
Stay Blessed.

Nilemarques I hope I don't look or sound stupid by saying this is good news. If they have agreed to reimburse the cost it sure sounds like GodsAuthority. They reimbursed it and was then granted. Sounds like victory to me and I am positive of this. My prayers are with you and I know victory is ours eventually by God's grace.
Nilemarques - your victory is just around the corner. You will share your testimony with us very soon.

Hi djbonnet, thank you and I want to encourage you that being a parent and a husband to a British citizen over weighs the issue of overstaying under ECHR. The process times lies with in 8weeks.i am sure you will get a positive outcome very soon.

Like you said, its God's working. Nothing impossible with God. Luke 1:37. Whoever refused to risk achieved nothing. I had no option but to apply regardless of my offences. I just wanted to share with whoever is in similar situation. Try your luck.

Congrats @ Collins, it seems like they are now working on applications based on dates applications were received. But still weird how applications made in May are still pending / waiting on the queue. But I'm really happy for you and Imensh.....Hopefully soon all of us still waiting will our good news. AMEN.
Some times it's worth giving them a call on 03001232241 option 4 (progress of application) in my case, once I made 8weeks on 05/08/2014, I called and after waiting in the que for 20mins I was informed my case isn't yet decided I should continue to wait. I reminded the advisor of the 8weeks processing times on the web site but challenged me that its just a guideline. However, just after a day in between, I received my BRP. If you're sure you're application is well over due, try giving them a call. I am sure it's not a criminal offence. I pray you get your freedom soon. God is with you
