prayforus, u said u applied in may but others got visa sooner. one of two winners had applied for the third time. in essence they have been waiting for 2 years. maybe this has some impact on the visa. but I don't know what the real reason and that is torturous for us that we don't know the process. just pray for ur turn. that's all what we can do. and bombard them with emails also.

I forgot to mention we re-applied in May, it is our second time applying. We applied from Mirpur just as Hello786 has. It's pot luck in my opinion.

This list above is exactly how i had typed it on my sponsorship letter divided into them sections aswell. I just got straight to the point. This is what my sponsorship letter contained.

- To start 4/5 lines stating who i am and i would like to sponsor my husband etc and how this has been difficult for us. I will be fully responsbile for him in the UK.
- Relationship timeline. I wrote beside this ( In this timeline i have only covered the importante events) I bullet pointed when we got engaged, first met, the two times i got refused and why. Didnt go into too much detail though.
- Financial Capabilities. My job. My salary. What i earn. I gave a calculation of my savings and employment here and highlighted it in bold. Showing that i met the income.
- Accommoadtion. Where I stay etc. When i bought my house etc.
- Future Plan. 3 lines.
- List of documents.

At the end i wrote It has been distressing for me and my husband being refused our spouse settlement visa twice. I am certain I now fulfill every requirement to satisfy the Entry Clearance officer in order to kindly grant my husbands visa.

As u will see my sponsorship letter was not overly lovey dovey just straight to the point being honest. 1 n a half pages only.

And by the grace of Almighty Allah 18 working days. Visa granted.

Honesty is the best policy guys. I cannot re-iterate enough if you have discrepancies within your employment do not ignore and presume the eco will know why, fully explain the error.

In shaa Allah you all will be re-united with your partners, this was my 3rd app. However, it was First time with cash savings and salaried employment as i changed jobs after 2nd application.

P.S ALWAYS TRY AND GIVE MORE THAN THEY REQUIRE. Eg requirement 6 month wage slips. Give them 7/8/9/10 as much as possible. I gave 7, it may not be alot more than the requirement but still better than giving bang on 6. Wait a little longer and have that extra proof to make your case stronger. It pays off.

MashaAllah congratulations!! May you be blessed with a happy and blissful married life In Sha Allah.
Totally agree with you - honesty best policy and get straight to the point.

No you wont get an email or letter for RFC. I have seen someone on this forum received a call from BHC but couldn't hear them and they never called her back. So keep your PHONE with you all the time.

look at my timeline below. mine still in under process and ukvi keep using this generic response:

Meanwhile I would like to let you know that in regards to the visa
application processing time we have service standards for processing UK
visa applications. The standards below, however, relate only to
applications made at our visa application centres overseas and not to
in-country leave to remain or settlement applications. Our standards say
that we will process:

90 per cent of non-settlement applications within 3 weeks, 98 per cent
within 6 weeks and 100 per cent within 12 weeks of the application date;
95 per cent of settlement applications within 12 weeks of the application
date and 100 per cent within 24 weeks of the application date.
Applied in Mirpur: 07/02/2014
Spouse Called for Interview: 02/07/2014
RFC: 10/10/2014 VISA GRANTED

Its just pathetic,
at least you've all had some sort of movement in your cases ( interview)
ive not even had that, no acknowledgment of receiving case, no further inquiries, not been told if application is on hold :(
Had my case escalated on 18/07, i was told the response was 3-5 working days however its now been over two weeks and still not heard anything.
i am being told to wait 'patiently' however how can i?!
you've given us timescales of 24 weeks, well my timescales are up in three days i have not had a response to anything. not even an update!

I understand your frustration. But I never received any email apart from the standard replies to all of my queries. My MP has contacted them but same standard replies that my application is under the process. Its been over 120 working days since my wife applied. I seriously don't know what to do.... ECO hasn't assessed my application yet. 120 working days were completed on 20th August.. don't lose hope sis

which number are you calling? last time i heard that they have closed all the lines for BHC Islamabad. so there is no other way to contact them directly except via email.
