My Daughter

Please can you help as I am after advice of what is needed to bring my daughter to this country, I recently got my flr and I want to bring my 9 yr old daughter over here to live with me and my husband as she currently lives in Botswana, what do I need to do to bring her over here as a friend said that my visa doesn't allow me to bring her over here and now i'm confused

Bat is your current leave, Spouse leave to remain? Is your husband the Father of the child and is he British?

Yes my husband is british but hes not the biological father of the child.

birth certificate of my child has my name,mothers name. the biological father has no problem with child joining us in the uk.hes ready to write a consent letter, what im asking is does my 2and half spousal visa allow me to bring the child in the uk

It does allow you to apply for a visa for leave for the child subject to finances etc but most importantly some official legal court order allowing the child to leave, not merely a letter from the other parent....
