How to Calculate Non salaried employment?

Hello friends

I am going to apply fresh application.I am working in a construction company and i get paid according to hours i work. I was unpaid leave for two months in previous 8 months and during previous 8 months my total salary is 16,000. I want to know that how eco will calculate my non salaried employment if I applied under Category A
16,000/8 = 2,000 × 12 = 24,000
is this the correct way for calculating non salaried employment in Category A?
