Canadian looking to work in UK Healthcare

Hello all,
Wanted to start by saying I apologize if i'm posting in the wrong section..
I was just looking for some information regarding certain topics.

I'm a 23 year old Radiographer who's specialized in CT Scans and I live in Canada. Now I was interested in getting a work permit and travelling around for a year or two and one option is the UK.
I'm aware that the first order of business would be to get my license transfered to the UK, from what I can find, they are equivalent and I shouldn't have too much of a problem getting my licence to practice in the UK.
The second step seems to be getting my work permit/visa. From what i'm gathering, would I be applying for a Tier 5 Temporary Work Visa? With that Visa, would I need to be sponsered? How would I then go about in finding work?

Now one last question, I apologize if this is the wrong place to be asking, but how accesible is it to get a job as a radiographer in the UK? Would I have a hard time, I wouldn't want to go through all this to not find a job. Is there a large demand?

Look at the private hospital websites. They are recruiting loads of medical staff. My hospital is private where I work and there is loads of work. Being in the health care here is loads of good opportunities here in the Uk.

I just got a huge pay rise from my employer !

Hmm that is interesting Warren! Are you also a Radiographer?
That's what I'm looking to do. I'd probably do agency work once I get there. I've been in contact with 2 of them. One of them being RIGRadiography and the other is Jennie Reeves Radiography. Do you have any experience with them?

Which private hospital sites do you use?
