do i need an account and money in bank to join my wife in uk

i read somewhere in forums that i must have money in bank at lest 2000 pounds for six months is it true because i dont have one :shock:

As you're joining your wife,you don't need to or not required to,she needs to proof the financial requirement of 18600 and all other requirements applicable.
