Clarification on Referees for BC

Post by guyinlondon » Thu Aug 21, 2014 9:31 am

Dear Experts,

Please help me and clarify my doubt.

I will be applying for my British citizenship next month. I just want to confirm that two referees i am going to use on my form would be fine.

1st referee is my doctor friend for last 10 years he is Indian citizen but have Indefinite Leave To Remain in UK.(He has already applied for British passport and his application is under consideration)

2nd referee is our family friend who knows me for last 5 year and he is British citizen.

Please confirm these referees would be ok for me to use in my application form.

Thanks,

Doctors are fine. The list is not exhaustive.
Doctors have been taken off the list just to reduce their workload on these admin paperworks but they have not been blacklisted.
