That question of 'will I get visa on it or not? Is on all our minds and frankly no one has an answer for that I'm afraid ECO can pick up on the minutest thing...Who knows!!!

Its mentioned on the uk visa website job can b permanent or temporary contract based.i wanna know if someone applied with 1 year contract job and got visa.since all they need is 6 months of payslips exceeding the financial requirement.anyone who can comment on it plz help needed since my husband has two options for job one with 3 yr contract n one with 1 yr contract n wanta to know which one is better in terms of visa since he likes the 1 year contract job more n doesn't want the visa to b rejected cause of that.

U shud b fyn inshallah its no problem! My sister applied with one job for 4 years and one only 7 months contact n got it aslong as its 6 months shud b no problem

Ket1, they are replying to people now, 4000 people on hold, they dealing with people in a queue, so hopefully we will hear soon, and inshallah we will all get out spouse visa!

Thanks for the reply. Was she on 7 month contract job when she applied or was on 4 yrs of contract job?

Basically she had two jobs one sh started 4 years agin and one only 6 or months. On the employer letter all it said was that it was a permanent contract and had workd ther since and wage was etc . So basicly 2 jobs one being a few years and one only the few months but because they only require 6 months payslips it didnt rely affect anythng aslong as u meet th income with both the jobs. Hope this helps?

Hi everyone.

From what I read on the UKVI site. 4000 applications were on hold if which approximately 750 were applications made from Pakistan. I have read a lot of posts saying that the 4000 are on hold referring to Pakistan but this is incorrect.
