Applied under 28 on new rules and got approved?

Post by anka » Thu Aug 16, 2007 7:31 am

Anyone who is applying under 28 on new rules and got approved can you please advise on what docuemnts you sent to Home Office?

If you have a cover letter that lists everything it would be helpful.

Do you still need to provide your Curriculum Vitae with the application

my email is amelie.mistickey@gmail.com

anka,

1) Anyone who is applying under 28 on new rules and got approved can you please advise on what docuemnts you sent to Home Office?

a) Full driving license
b) Original birth certificate

2) If you have a cover letter that lists everything it would be helpful.

Please follow the link to view covering letters;

3) Do you still need to provide your Curriculum Vitae with the application

NO - you don`t have to sent your CV to the HSMP team

Hope this helps.

Age Assessment

Post by anka » Fri Aug 17, 2007 6:48 am

1. For the Age Asessment - It is mentioned in the guidance notes to only provide one or the other. Can you please advise if just a full driver's licence is sufficient (my licence is Australian and that is what i am planning to provide to HO)

Evidence Required
86. You must provide evidence of your age if you wish to claim any points in this category. We will accept:
• Your original birth certificate; or
• Your original full driving licence.

2.Finding work in UK once you get HSMP....Is it hard...IN Australia most of the jobs for instance will require you to be a Permanent Resident and it helps heaps to be one when you apply here.

What does HSMP visa status mean you are considered a Permanent Resident as such when applying for work.
I am just scarred when i get there i will not find any work not being a PR

Please comment.

Thanks,

Anna
