Urgent Help Needed...Sent tax return doc with stamp in Hindi

Post by aug_hsmp » Thu Aug 16, 2007 4:41 pm

Hi Guys,

I had sent my hsmp application a week back and got reference number on 13th Aug. I was just reading one of the postings and realized that I have sent my tax return (ITR-2) doc with stamp in Hindi.

Should I send translated tax return stamp to HSMP team? But I have already sent my original tax ack doc.

Pls. let me know what options are available.

I don't have much time in hand so pls. post ur suggestions immediately.

Thanks In Advance,

Hi, send by fax a photocopy of the same doc stamped, and tranlate the stamp and also make sure that the translator is a recognised by the U.K. commission in your country.Let a notry public also notarise the doc. This will be sufficient. You have do this as earlier as possible. Send it to the HSMP fax no.

No , u are not required to send a translated ITR document. As, the stamp which i have seen on ITR is in Hindi only , i have send the same document and got approval in month of feb , just make sure ur ITR is in english language. U cant do anything with the stamp and also i havent seen any user posted any message on this forum about being submitting a translated ( ITR) just becoz of stamp .
i dont think you should be worried about this

Thanks!!! to both of u..

I think it's better to send translated doc. Otherwise they will have reason to reject my application.
