No SMS for 6 days after passport application - is this norma

Hi,

I have applied for a passport (first one, naturalised citizen) last Tuesday, on Aug 26th, through PO Check & Send.
To date, I have received no SMS from the Passport Office.
Is this normal? Has it taken anyone longer than 6 days?
I'm a bit jittery, as I have sent them both the naturalisation certificate and the last foreign passport...

It is definitely not unusual. Post Office sends your application after number of days and then it takes time for them to enter your record in the system.

I have waited 6 working days.

Today is 9 days (7 working), and still no SMS.

I went ot the Post Office where I had filed, and they say it can be up to 14 days until SMS. Then I may call the Passport office.

Scary...
