Father with no fixed address applying for overseas British c

Father with no fixed address applying for overseas British child passport?
Hi all,

Not sure i'm in the right place for posting, but i'm sure someone will move it to
the correct place if not..

When dealing with the British Embassy in Rabat for my Daughter's
passport early in 2013 everything was plain sailing, i'm glad to
say she now holds both Moroccan and British passports at 19 months
old.
Now everything has changed, i have recently applied for my Son's
passport at the age of 2.5 months old. Seems it is no longer enough
just to prove he is most definately British to get his passport ,
but due to my current situation he is likely to have his
application rejected.

Basically what i'm saying is, what changed since early 2013 to this
day?

When applying successfully for my Daughter's passport with no fixed
address there was no problem. Yet now applying for my Son's
passport for some reason proof of my address is a problem. Yes it
is a problem on this day for i do not have any legal proof of where
i'm living , i travel back and forth from Spain to Morocco staying
with parents and in-laws to keep in time with the 90 day limit set
by both countries.

I feel in would be unfair to allow my Daughter her passport, but
not my Son due to the circumstance of his father's living situation
and lack of proof. After all, the reason i'm in this limbo of no fixed
abode is difficulties of immigration law. Now it seems my own
country looks at applications for passports through ''guilty till
proven innocent'' eyes.

I've been trying to find relivant information on this address
issue, the only thing i found was proof of address for the delivery
of passport. This doesn't matter in my case for it will be
delivered to the VAC in Rabat, for saying this we have given proof
of where my son is living with his mother in Morocco. This i would
have thought was more to the point as the passport is for him after
all.

Just to add.. The fact that a recent email sent with a incorrect name
how do they at the passport office in Belfast lead me to believe they have
reviewed my Son's application carefully and possibly believe a 2.5 month old
is a threat to national security?
