Need Urgent Help

Post by sham111 » Fri Aug 17, 2007 11:46 am

Dear All,

I have submitted my application on 22nd of June and the payment was deducted same day.

I was calling all this days and they said it will be allocated today or tomorrow.

Today i called them and cust rep spoke with the admin team and found that they can't locate my file and he advised me to send photocopies.

I am totally shattered. What are my options. As this is totally there fault.

Please senior members i need your urgent help.

Thanks in advance,
S

I recommend that you (a) send the photocopies so that the application can be processed, and (b) get the acknowledgement of the lost file in writing or email. The latter might come in helpful after your approval, since you would be processing further applications with photocopies, at least until such time as you can obtain replacement documentation.

And yes, this is of course their fault, but you might be better off discussing that issue with the complaints division rather than the caseworker staff.

Good luck
AG

Then, it should not be a problem to track them.

File your complaint at UKVisas. They are not very quick to respond but according to my experience they have been very useful and sorted my case out.

My Lawyer actually did it for me but I know how to go ahead.
You can visit their link
http://www.ukvisas.gov.uk/servlet/Front ... 8721085330
You can lodge your complaint using the email from their website. You will probably get a reply from someone after a week or so but as I said earlier, they will definitely look into your case and would most probably sort it out as they did in mine though my problem was a bit different.
According to the information I received from my Lawyer, UKVisas is actually a governing body over all the British overseas missions as well as the Homeoffice and all the immigration depts within UK.

Wish you best of luck.

Losing Your File

Post by purplepple » Sat Aug 18, 2007 6:03 pm

What do they mean by "losing your file"? Does this mean that they lost even your original university diplomas?

That is scary.... I'm now thinking twice on submitting an HSMP application.

Dear purplepple,

what happened to sham111 is a very rare case and there are thousands of other examples of cases on this board in which everything went through smoothly. This shouldn't discourage you from applying.

Called the UKVisas office , they said that its only for applicants outside the UK.

Called workpermit numbers and take the fax number and email address for complaints.

I am worried as i don't even have all the photocopies to send them.

I pray HO improves there service and avoid such things to happen in future.

Got an email confirmation frm workpermit that i need to send as many photocopies of my originals as possible.

I don't have all the photocopies and worried that if they simple take a decision based on photocopies then i will loose all the hopes if its not favourable.

please suggest.

Thanks
