Strictly speaking trade bodies represent companies involved in that particular business. These serve as a common platform which makes it easier to raise the common voice to for example givernment and to devise pilicies for common good. It certainly is. Actually what HO requires is for you to prove that you are a genuine Entrepreneur and so you would be doing everything to promote your business and not just applying for the visa for the sake of it.
