Income Support Apprehension

Post by skashif87 » Mon Sep 15, 2014 11:39 am

Hello,
My husband has ILR on Long residence basis and our children are now naturalised. We are going to claim Child Benefits. We were also thinking to claim Income support but are doubtful if we apply for Income Support we wont be able to get Passport in a year's time. Is it something like that or these are just silly doubts we are having? I'm a housewife and my husband is on low income/no income.
Thanks.

Claiming benefits has no effect on British Citizenship applications.

It's unlikely you can claim income support unless a lone parent or carer.
