Naturalization Application Sent Back To Re-date and Re-sign

Post by emachine27 » Fri Sep 19, 2014 10:19 pm

Hi everyone,

I just received my naturalization application form back to re-date and re-sign on section 6. I would really appreciate anyone who has been through this or anyone could advise me the best way to re-date and re-sign section 6.
Should I cross through the original signature and sign beside it in the box and do the same with the date. What would be the best way to do this.
Any help much appreciated.

You could just reprint that page and complete and sign it again. Why have they asked you to re-date and re-sign??

I sent the application form on 27th May 2014, however three years ago on that date I was on holiday. In short I applied nine days too early.
The letter that the home office sent states resign and redate the application form which is stapled and stamped with the date they recieved it.
I assume if they wanted me to sent a new section 6 page they would have mentioned it. :?
Just need advice on best way to do this.
