Parallel processing of my citizenship and wife dependent vis

Dear Members,

I will be applying for my British citizenship on 15 Oct 2014. I currently hold Indian passport. My wife will apply for dependent visa on 1 October 2014.

My query is if I apply for my British citizenship when my wife is processing dependent visa are there any impacts generally for me or for my wife application?
More Specifically will dependent visa process be delayed due to to my parallel citizenship application? I do not want to delay my citizenship application due to personal reasons and hence decided to take the option of applying both my citizenship and wife's dependent visa.

It would be great to have some information from members who have personal experience on this.

No, supply a certified copy of your passport for naturalisation if not using the NCS.
