You're not allowed a phone or extra people inside Gerry's...

But I went in, and took my phone and wifeys. Cha ching... that's Pakistan for you

Gifts, they do look at as suspicious vis-a-vis "we don't seem convinced that the money in your accounts is entirely yours". They don't follow science, they just have rules to save their a$$es. The rules aren't as hard cover as some make them out to be. The interpreter is not a computer, it's just a human.

Best wishes to all!

Oh, and 1 complaint won't matter... unless people team up to complain. The bigger, the better... that's democracy

there was a discrepancy between 2 of my wage slips and bank statement :-( - hence the refusal...

We are going to reapply InshaAllah.

Can anyone please tell me where can one take the now-approved-english-test in Lahore and which one? My husband did the toiec A1 test last time but I guess that isn't accepted anymore?

Many thanks.

It varies from case to case. I have seen someone getting after two weeks and some have to wait for 4 weeks.

Was your application on hold? how did they inform you about the decision?

My application was not on hold, tomorrow 8 months since I submitted would have passed, so I rang them and found out that decision has been made, he also said that all new submissions are on hold till they sort out old submissions

Don't worry everyone In'Shaa'Allah everyone that's waiting will get good news always remember no news is good news as they say.

@ sami3 and phaara I have been waiting since December 2013 and not heard anything yet either so they can't be working on jan applications as December hasn't been looked at. I'm still waiting and same standard emails from them, i am going to call them if I haven't heard by the end of the week,
It's gone over 9 months for me and still waiting. It's a joke but all we can do is dua and wait, In'Shaa'Allah all will be well soon.

Hi,

I have just submitted a spouse visa application for my wife to settle in the UK.

I have put the planned travel date as 3 months and 6 days from the date of application.

I understand the ruling is that you can only only apply within 3 months.

Does anyone know if this is going to be an issue? It is over 3 months yes but only by a few days so I thought it would be OK? Surely they wouldn't refuse over a few extra days??

She has her biometric appointment today.

Thanks in advance!
