help-advice needed

Post by tia1 » Thu Sep 25, 2014 10:39 am

My husband visa application was put on hold since then I went on maternity leave. I have now found a new job which meets the financial requirement. Does this mean that I have to work another 6 months or will my contract and first month payslip be enough for them to re-consider my application.

6 months employment showing that you meet the £18,600 minimum earnings. You may find that you receive a refusal now that the applications on hold are being processed and have to apply again.

Thanks for the reply..do u mean that I should wait to be refused and then fill new application form. I thought since I am still on hold and already in the system they will consider it. After all I am not a new candidate.

You could try it but they were correct in their refusal so they may not accept the change in circumstances. It's not certain how long it will take to process the applications on hold due the high number involved. By the time you qualify with 6 months of earnings you may have already had a decision on the original application.
