Switching from Tier 4 Student to Dependent

Hi there,

I will be very grateful if anyone can help me here. Recently I've proposed to my girlfriend and we are planning to get register marriage. At the moment she's with Student visa Tier 4 and I am on a Tier 2 General.

If she needs to switch from Tier 4 to Tier 2, does she needs to go out from UK to re-apply for entry clearance?

She may switch to Tier 2 (General) dependant in the UK.
